Part without homologation, not required for the specified type of motorcycle, not carried out at the time of production Vehicle lighting devices are subject to mandatory homologation according to the implementing regulations of Act No. 56/2001 Coll. of 10 January 2001 on the conditions of operation of vehicles on land roads, according to which lighting devices must bear an homologation mark, a designation of the type of light and the trade name or brand of the manufacturer. These markings are mainly placed on the light cover. The number after the letter E indicates the country of homologation. The use of lighting without homologation or lighting for other purposes is classified as a serious defect or a dangerous defect in the technical suitability of the vehicle, depending on the type of light. A dangerous defect results in the loss of the technical suitability of the vehicle.
